The Mediterranean Global Ocean Observing System

The Mediterranean Global Ocean Observing System is a regional alliance of leading marine institutions founded under the auspices of the UNESCO/Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) to provide a concerted approach and common framework for the planning and implementation of the Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS) in the Mediterranean to the benefit of all coastal states in the region.

MedGOOS 10th Assembly and Seminar on coastal modelling

On the occasion of the 10th MedGOOS Annual meeting and the MOON Assembly (3-5th March 2010) that will be held in Istanbul, a half-day seminar on numerical coastal modelling experiences for the Mediterranean is being organised by the MedGOOS Secretariat.
