The IOI Malta course for 2010 is dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC), the competent international body dealing with ocean science and ocean services since 1960. The IOI has throughout the years of its existence established fruitful relations and collaborated with the Commission in its endeavors. The IOI appreciates the continuing support provided by the IOC especially in the area of ocean governance, training and awareness raising. The programme of the course will include special lectures on the history of the IOC and its activities.

How to Apply

Follow the two-step approach to apply for a position on the course on Ocean Governance for Mediterranean and Eastern European Countries:

1. Once you ensure that you fit the eligibility criteria set down for participants of the course, register your interest by filling out and submitting the online Preliminary Interest Form.

2. Download and fill out the full Application Form (including the Participant Nomination and Medical Forms) and post to the Course Coordinator at the IOI Malta Operational Centre address by the 14 September 2010.

Completed Application forms including scanned signatures may be sent initially by email to the course coordinator on ioimaltacourse@capemalta.net; signed originals are to follow by postal mail.
